The Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG) said its latest count shows a membership of 320. That is an increase of 37 members over last year at this time. HDRG is a Division of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA).
Mike Hill, HDRG chairman and president of Precision Rebuilders Inc. in St. Clair, Mo., said, "APRA organized this group to better represent the heavy-duty remanufacturers on legislative issues and governmental affairs. HDRG also provides opportunities for remanufacturers to network across all product lines and to promote the use of remanufacturer products as quality alternatives to new and used units."
"HDRG's membership consists of members who are involved in the heavy-duty remanufacturing of a variety of parts used in trucks, off-road vehicles, construction, marine and industrial applications," said APRA's President, Bill Gager.
"As we make plans for our second annual Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group Summit in Las Vegas on Jan. 21, prior to HDAW week, we are kicking off our second membership drive. We invite all remanufacturers of heavy-duty parts to check us out and join the group," added Gager.
