Delmar Learning Offers Truck Technician Training Series
Delmar Learning, which provides lifelong learning products and services has launched a new set of training courses geared toward medium- and heavy-duty truck technicians: The Professional Truck Technician Training Series.

Keeping with the modern technology seen in shops today, the courses are available in both CD-ROM and web-based formats. These courses focus on engaging technicians and optimizing information retention through the use of true-to-life animations and interactivities in a way that cannot be achieved through traditional print-based learning products.
This new series covers topics ranging from electricity and electronic systems to preventive maintenance, with each course containing the most up-to-date theory, application and diagnostic material needed for today's technicians to perform their jobs to the best of their ability.
These courses follow both the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards, resulting in quality education that meets the needs of the industry. To better ensure that the material is understood and best retained, each course contains end-of-section review questions, as well as a comprehensive review at the end of the course, awarding a printable certificate of completion to each user who achieves a score of eighty percent or higher.
Truck technology continues to advance and there is no reason why technician training should not follow suit. As technology evolves, so does the need for more thorough and efficient technician training.
Courses Publishing in this Series Include:
• Brakes (Available Summer 2007)
• Electricity and Electronics (Available Summer 2007)
• Preventive Maintenance (Available Summer 2007)
• Suspension and Steering (Available Winter 2007)
• Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (Available Spring 2008)
• Drive Train (Available Spring 2008)
