CTL Distribution Inc. recently formed a partnership with C-1 Truck Driver Training to begin a training program for student drivers wanting to pursue their Class A CDL and employment with CTL.
This three-week program will allow CTL to offer career-driving opportunities to those who want to join the transportation industry but who do not have their Class A CDL. CTL will sponsor the student driver and pay for their training with a commitment from the student to drive safely with CTL for one year.
CTL will focus on utilizing two C-1 training locations: Little Rock, Ark., and East St. Louis, Ill. Students will only be responsible for the licensing costs up front. CTL will pay for the training up front and, depending on student’s residence location, lodging may be provided. CTL will qualify all student applicants for employment with CTL prior to offering training. Once pre-qualified, the student will be offered training under a promissory note to stay employed with CTL for one year.
CTL Distribution Inc., a National Tank Truck carrier, was founded in 1964 and is based in Mulberry, Fla.
