International EZ-Tech Link

NEXIQ Technologies, Auburn Hills, Mich., will supply International Truck and Engine Corp. and International truck dealers throughout North America with the International EZ-Tech Link for diagnostic service.

The International EZ-Tech Link provides a wireless connection, using the popular 802.11b wireless standard, for communication between diagnostic PCs and the vehicle data bus connector.
Multiple EZ-Tech Links provide a wireless service bay infrastructure and the ability to view and communicate everything through a network eliminating cables and the need to change hardware interfaces for different diagnostic applications. The EZ-Tech Link is compatible with original equipment manufacturers and component suppliers' diagnostic applications for engines, transmissions, ABS and instrument panel clusters.
"We are thrilled to supply International truck dealers with NEXIQ diagnostic technology that is specifically designed to increase access to vehicle information, as well as to maximize efficiency and productivity in the garage," said Bob Ford, manager of Service Information for International Truck and Engine Corp. "International is dedicated to its loyal dealers and customers, and is committed to providing the latest products that facilitate ease of service and vehicle uptime."
NEXIQ Technologies developed the product for International to consolidate the number of connection devices required to diagnose different vehicle systems.
NEXIQ is a part of Snap-On Tool Inc. For more information visit www.nexiq.com.
