TMI, the company offering TripPak Express and TripPak Online document management services, teamed up with trucking software developer TMW Systems of Cleveland, Ohio.
The companies collaborated to develop the first TMW-supported data interface for imaging for their mutual client, Florida Express Carriers.
"TMW understands the power of database-level integration for securing index information and enabling the unique data verification, exception management and tracking capabilities of TripPak Online," said Mark A. Cleveland, executive vice president of TMI. "TripPak Online eliminates the potential for lost documents and will help fleets take full advantage of TMW's enterprise management product with its flexible, user-configurable screen design. With a TL200 interface in place and a PowerSuite interface around the corner, we are excited."
TripPak Online stores and can retrieve if necessary any paper document, while their commercial scanning operation works overnight to capture an image of every trip document. TripPak Online certifies electronic documents, as a witness to the fact that each watermarked image is an original document. The images drive invoicing, payroll processes and other functions in an optimized workflow environment developed by TMI and now integrated with TMW applications.
