Truck Country, one of the largest Freightliner dealers in the country, is moving to a new 40,000-square-foot facility on I-380 just north of the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids.
"This new facility will give us the opportunity to better serve our customers, both in terms of the convenience of being located on I-380, and in expanding our service and parts departments to help get truckers back on the road in a timely manner," said Bill Roth, general manager.
Besides easy access from I-380, the new building will offer expanded service and parts areas, and a comfortable drivers lounge with free wi-fi.
Truck Country in Cedar Rapids currently has 58 employees and hopes to expand by 5-10 positions in the service department after the move.
Truck Country serves customers at 12 locations in Iowa and Wisconsin.
