The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), an association supporting the commercial truck and transportation equipment industry, recently announced the election of three new members to the NTEA Board of Trustees.
The new Trustees were installed at the 45th Annual NTEA Convention held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2009 (March 3 - 6, 2009). Their three-year terms began at that time.
Three new Distributor Trustees were elected: Steve Hayes, general manager of Layton Truck Equipment (Colorado Springs, CO); Shawn Jacobs, president of STS Trailer & Truck Equipment (Syracuse, NY); and Richard Sippola, president of Carnegie Body Co. (Cleveland, OH).
Also serving on the 2009-2010 Board are Executive Committee Members:
President Andrew Outcalt, president of Meyer Products LLC and Swenson Spreader LLC (Cleveland, OH); First Vice President Allen Birmingham, national sales manager for Tommy Gate Co. (Phoenix, AZ); Second Vice President Spencer Hinson, president of Lodi Equipment (West Sacramento, CA); Third Vice President and Treasurer Steven Sill, president of Aspen Equipment Co. (Bloomington, MN) and NTEA Executive Director and Secretary Jim Carney.
Serving alongside Executive Committee members are Distributor Trustees Bobby Horton, general manager of Commercial Body & Rigging (Garland, TX); Frank Livas, senior vice president /COO, Brake & Clutch, Inc. (Salem, MA); and Blake Murray, general manager of General Truck Equipment (Jacksonville, FL); and Manufacturer Trustees David Gilpatrick, CEO/owner of Thiele Manufacturing (Windber, PA); and Jim Radous, vice president of Sales for Knaack, LLC (Crystal Lake, IL).
