Paccar and Viaduct, a Silicon Valley technology company, have signed a multi-year agreement to leverage connected data from Peterbilt and Kenworth. The collaboration will integrate Paccar’s telematics, diagnostics, and repair data pipelines with Viaduct’s connected vehicle data and analytics platform.
Viaduct will deploy its data platform with Paccar to predict individual and fleet-level vehicle health on Paccar trucks. Paccar can then use these insights to enhance vehicle uptime for its customers.
Viaduct works directly with automotive OEMs to ingest data directly from their trucks. Through its platform, Viaduct uses machine learning on that connected vehicle data to deliver AI-powered insights and applications to the OEM, which can then use the insights to improve quality, increase customer experience, and lower downtime.

“Each OEM will be different on how they pass these insights to the end user, but OEMs generally will use our platform to garner true predictive insights that will deliver significant time and cost savings for fleet owners and drivers," said David Hallac, Viaduct CEO.
“Our artificial intelligence can better predict which vehicles need service, so vehicle owners can avoid having to get inspections and service where they are not needed.”
Paccar will also integrate with Viaduct’s Smart Campaigns application, which helps OEMs scope, optimize, and track their vehicle service campaigns and, in some cases, allow for recall avoidance.
