Port of Virginia Relaunches Clean-Diesel Incentive Program

The Port of Virginia has relaunched its Green Operator Program, which provides up to $20,000 toward the purchase of clean-diesel trucks that service the port and up to $6,000 toward the purchase and installation of retrofit devices, announced Virginia Clean Cities (VCC).

Running an Alternative-fueled Fleet

The county has 700 vehicles, from compact cars to Class 8 trucks. All run on ethanol-gasoline blends, biodiesel, compressed natural gas or propane, and Rose loves to talk about them.
