Underhood Lite Air Compressor Works With Ford Transit

The VMAC’s Underhood Lite air compressor system is now available on the Ford Transit 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 Van.
The Underhood Lite weighs 85 pounds and has an output of 30 CFM at 100 PSI with a 150 PSI maximum. Its compact size and weight are designed to be used for construction, utilities and public works fleets.
It features a belt driven VMAC oil-injected rotary screw and a throttle control with two speed operation. For display and controls it has an hour meter and high/idle speed adjustment. For safety, it features a compressor thermal protection circuit, automatic rapid blowdown valve on the tank, and a 200 PSI overpressure safety valve.
The vehicle’s parking brake must be engaged and the truck must be in park for the system to start.
