Toyo Tire's M153 regional and urban heavy-duty steer tire is designed for refuse operations and other high-scrub applications.

The M153 features an extra deep, regroovable 26/32-inch tread, which is designed for high-scrub environments such as those found in sanitation truck use. The tire features a 10,000-pound load-carrying capacity and is made out of a compound which delivers better wear performance and durability.

"The new Toyo M153 is an ideal steer tire for trucks subjected to heavy duty use," said Lowell Slimp, Toyo's senior product manager of commercial truck tires. "Its combination of design elements along with an extra deep tread, allows it to handle the punishment normally associated with refuse operations."
