Technicans at fleets and dealers can use IPA's Super Mutt Trailer Tester to help perform trailer safety inspections along with their regular tire checks.

IPA says the system addresses the problem of time and resources needed to cross-train technicians on trailers. 

Remote controlled and fully diagnostic, the Super Mutt provides a thorough and efficient inspection. By placing a load on the trailers circuitry, it identifies poor grounds and crossed/open/shorted circuits. 

Additionally, techs can perform leak down tests, remotely apply service brakes, and activate ABS blink codes resulting in a comprehensive inspection. An available DVD manual can train technicians in its use.
