The Spicer XFE 75W-90 axle lubricant is a synthetic gear oil designed to improve fuel economy in high efficiency drivetrains. The lubricant is made for drive-axles in a variety of on-highway applications, reduces friction and spin loss, and has a lower stabilization temperature and a more stable viscosity during operation. In a high-efficiency drivetrain, the lubricant qualifies for an initial 500,000-mile drive axle lubrication change interval.
The XFE 75W-90 meets the requirements of SAE J2360 and qualifies for Dana’s SHAES256 Rev C specifications. The lubricant is designed to improve efficency with Dana’s Spicer AdvanTEK 40 and Spicer Pro-40 tandem axles for 6x4 configurations and Spicer EconoTrek 6x2 tandem axles.
