RAM Mounting Systems’ IntelliSkin is a protective device for Samsung smartphones and tablets designed to simplify the frequent docking and undocking of devices in the field.

IntelliSkin features an integrated power connector that is compatible with any of RAM Mounting Systems' GDS charging docks. This prevents damage to the device charging port and creates a universal docking system compatible with any device wrapped with an IntelliSkin case.

GDS stands for Global Docking System technology which creates a uniform platform for connecting a variety of portable devices with power and data communication. It is compatible with several different devices and allows fleets to introduce new generations of devices without having to change docking stations.

GDS docking stations allow access to keyboards, monitors, speakers, hard drives and other USB devices by plugging in a connectivity hub to the back of the dock. There are also different GDS docks available depending on the application allowing for the use of docking devices wherever they are needed.

The IntelliSkin case has uniform, rugged docking contacts on the bottom for easy docking but it also keeps the smart device from being damaged by frequent docking and undocking. IntelliSkin cases are currently available for the Samsung Galaxy S5, S6, Tab S 8.4 and 10.5, Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and 10.1, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and 9.7, Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7, and Galaxy Tab Active 8.

RAM Mounting Systems has plans to develop more cases to expand the line in the future.
