Reading Truck Body’s Ready Van SL is a new service van offering ample, enclosed interior work space and secure, convenient outside compartments, the Pennsylvania manufacturer said.
 
Ready Van SL provides extra safety, durability, convenience and efficiency in addition to Reading’s premium standard features, the company said.  The body is made of galvannealed steel and shelving is galvanized steel. Also used are rivetless stainless steel handle pans.
 
All areas of the service body, including the interior load space and inside the exterior cabinet compartments, are painted, and the exterior is powder coated, the company said. The unit comes with a six-year limited warranty on the body and a lifetime warranty on key cylinders.
 
Organization and storage features include a bulkhead shelf for placement of oft-used items; vertical strips for adjustable attachment of shelving; top shelves with 2-inch-high retainers to prevent “fall out”; co-polymer J-type door slides that won’t be plugged by debris; solid, windowless rear doors protected by rain gutters; and spring-loaded stays and Dual-Pro seals on compartment doors.
