The PriorityStart HD is an automatic battery protection system that disconnects a battery at 11.7 volts to prevent a dead battery. The battery will be reconnected again with any load change.
The new HD unit is designed for heavier loads, a 60% increase over the other model to 1600 starting amps and 400 continuous amps. The design includes an increase to the contact disc, gears, and holding nut providing strengthened load capability and reduced stress from heavier loads.
The PriorityStart HD also includes increased points of connection, a brighter top LED, motor and gear shielding to strengthen operation, and a modified top post designed to accept side mount installation. The unit still boasts a simple design with only 3 connections that have no hard wiring and requires no button pushing.
