Predictive Coach is driver training software that assigns behavior-based training based on actual driving behavior from a telematics device.

Predictive Coach is an add-in to Geotab vehicle telematics devices, that analyzes real-time driving data to determine if a driver is driving dangerously.  Based on a set of thresholds, Predictive Coach automatically assigns relevant driving training to the driver and notifies the fleet manager. Driving behaviors include speeding, harsh braking, hard acceleration and hard cornering.

If a fleet has telematics data and does nothing to address the issue, they are at greater risk when an accident occurs. Predictive Coach alleviates the problem because drivers are automatically assigned training based on these behaviors. This leaves fleets are less exposed to potential willful negligence liability, according to the company.

Drivers can take assigned online training via personal computer, tablet or mobile device.  Fleet managers are provided comprehensive reporting and dashboards. Predictive Coach is fully customizable to meet the needs of the fleet and their typical driving environments.
