Pegasus TransTech is offering a new smartphone application designed to allow drivers to accept loads, update trip status, report accidents and claims, send/receive messages and delivery documents.

The company says its Transflo Mobile+ gives carries the ability to send load information even when drivers are not in their truck. The app interfaces with a fleet’s transportation management system in order to show a driver available loads. The driver can accept or decline a load, confirm delivery or pickup from the smartphone.

Other new features include giving drivers the ability to take color pictures and fill out electronic forms, such as accident or claim forms. A new settlement function allows drivers to easily find out when they are paid for a load.

The application’s user interface is customizable, Pegasus said, fleets can add their own logo and choose other preferences such as indexing, or to select the functions and applications drivers can use.

The Mobile+ app includes many of the same functions as the Transflo Mobile including the ability to scan and send documents with automatic cropping and image enhancement as well as a motion restriction function to promote safe use.
