TruckPark has launched a mobile-accessible truck parking app to help truck drivers reserve overnight parking spots.
TruckPark is partnering with an increasing number of parking facilities along or near major highways throughout the U.S., beginning with areas known for hard-to-find parking. The app helps drivers find available parking and allows them to reserve the space so that it is still available when they arrive.
TruckPark announced eight locations in the Chicago area with plans to add support for parking facilities in other areas of the country in the near future. All parking facilities supported by TruckPark are vetted for security.
“When drivers get near their limit for the day, they need to find available parking right away,” said Anthony Petitte, TruckPark chief executive officer and co-founder. “Too often, drivers waste valuable time searching for a place to park. We are introducing a technology solution to enable them to quickly and easily overcome this persistent problem.”
The TruckPark app is free to download and is available for both Apple and Android devices.
