Fleetio fleet management software has released a new addition to their fuel card integration options. WEX (formerly Wright Express) products can now be linked with Fleetio accounts to automate the fuel reporting process.

With this integration, transactions from the pump show up automatically for each vehicle, generating stats like cost per mile and average fuel economy. The online software also uses updated mileages to trigger reminder emails for maintenance and other important fleet activities. 

With built-in logic, Fleetio validates odometer entries from the pump, flagging bad mileages so that users can correct them. This serves as a critical safeguard against bad data, empowering accurate fuel reporting and great decisions, according to the company.

Fleetio customers can add fuel card integration to any paid monthly or annual plan.
