Eleos Technologies announced that it has launched a new service that corrects and enhances document images scanned with Qualcomm in-cab scanners. The new service dramatically improves image quality and legibility while reducing the size of the document images.

Developed at the request of Eleos customers, the cloud-based image enhancement service enables trucking companies to save money by eliminating customer complaints and rejected invoices associated with poor document image quality.

Available via Eleos’ popular Drive Axle image processing platform, the Enhancement Service can be used standalone or combined with other services to enable same-day, no-touch billing. These services include automatic indexing, image rotation, classification (doc-typing), optical character recognition (OCR) and barcode data extraction.
