Dayton Parts launched premium shock absorbers designed for ride control and cargo protection in Class 7 and 8 commercial vehicle applications.

Cargomaxx HD shocks are equipped with a nitrogen gas-charged system, which provides faster response time to road changes and reduced fade, Dayton Parts officials said in a press release. The parts are available in three models: cab shocks, standard duty shocks and steering damper shocks.

The shock absorbers are ideal for linehaul trucks, tractors and trailers, as well as vocational and last-mile delivery vehicles and school buses.

The new shocks offer a sealing system for consistent damping, minimizing excessive misting; superior welds on key functional components for greater overall durability; and thick-shouldered permanent-mount bushings with exclusive rubber compound for greater durability, company officials said.

Engineered to meet or exceed OE specifications, the shock absorbers further expand the Cargomaxx HD line of suspension components.
