CAT Scale App Allows EFS Card Payments
The CAT Scale mobile app will now allow drivers to link an EFS Card to weigh and pay at any of CAT Scale’s 1,550 locations in the U.S.

The CAT Scale mobile app will now allow drivers to link an EFS Card to weigh and pay at any of CAT Scale’s 1,550 locations in the U.S. The EFS Card is a cardless corporate payment option offered by Electronic Funds Source.
Drivers can create an account online at www.weighmytruck.com and select their EFS card as a form of payment. After the registration process the driver simply needs to download the app to their smartphone or tablet. When a driver approaches a CAT Scale location, the app uses GPS location to initiate the point of sale allowing the driver to weigh.
The app will prompt a driver for authentication verification and once authorized it will make the transaction on the registered EFS Card. The whole process is automated and the driver will not have to leave their truck, according to CAT.
Electronic Funds Source is a provider of corporate payment technology solutions that include a suite of corporate and private-label purchasing cards as well as cardless technology solutions.
“Using the Weigh My Truck app significantly reduces the total time it takes a driver to weight,” said Delia Meier, senior vice president of CAT Scale. “We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the option of using their EFS Card as a form of payment.”
