Electrical testing equipment is important to fleets that want to maintain a preventative maintenance program, according to Purkeys. A roll-around tester like the Benchtop Electrical Analyzer is useful for fleets when portability is not a concern.
The automated tester guides technicians through the analysis of heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems. The Benchtop Electrical Analyzer has multiple leads to help technicians conduct preventative maintenance checks, battery tests, and other tasks.
It can apply up to 400 amps for automated load tests while testing for voltage drop. The Analyzer tests cranking systems, battery systems, charging systems, and liftgate systems. It records the testing history with printable results.
