Grote has added to its library of adapter brackets to provide an easy and inexpensive way to upgrade a vehicle equipped with older, less efficient 2-inch and 2 1/2-inch incandescent clearance/markers.

All Grote LED MicroNova Dots incorporate a robust hardware design and a standard .180 bullet termination.

The new black, polycarbonate brackets have a 3/4-inch hole that allows an LED MicroNova Dot equipped with a standard grommet to be quickly installed with no change to the vehicle mounting surface. Just pop a Dot together with its own grommet into the right adapter bracket, and press them into the existing 2inch or 2 1/2-inch grommet. No further mounting modifications are needed.

Grote also provides new black, polycarbonate flange mount adapter brackets to quickly upgrade older lamps to Grote LED MicroNova Dot technology. These adapter brackets have the exact hole patterns of existing lamp flanges. 

Just unscrew the older lamp, press a MicroNova Dot and grommet into a Grote 3-inch or 3 1/2-inch flange mount adapter bracket, and screw it back into the existing holes. “Torque resistance” features around the mounting holes minimize chances of damage due to over tightening. No new holes or mounting modifications are needed.
