Jeff Sass, vice president of marketing for Hendrickson, has spent decades in the truck business, and he’s been talking frankly about how technology is changing the industry for years. Three years ago at HDT's Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange event, he promised that "electric trucks are coming." And indeed, they are here. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still a lot of questions and a lot of hurdles to overcome, from weight to cradle-to-grave issues.
