The second Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange was another successful event, bringing together fleets and suppliers for two days of networking, one-on-one meetings, and educational panels at the Scottsdale resort at McCormick Ranch outside Phoenix, Arizona.

The National Private Truck Council again rolled into Cincinnati for its annual meeting, this year from April 29 through May 1. Here's a look at some of the standout technologies on the show floor.

Truck World, Canada's national truck show, is held in Toronto on alternating years with Expocam in Montreal. The show is produced by Deutsche Messe and Newcom Media, publishers of Today's Trucking magazine. There were more than 500 exhibitors on hand. Attendance numbers were up on the first two days of the show compared to previous years, reflecting the bouyancy of the Canadian trucking industry. Jim Park was there and has these photos.

While the South Wing of The Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville was missing a few OEM exhibitors, the ATHS made good use of the vacant space with a display of vintage iron that drew a lot of fans. Here's a sampling of some of the trucks on display.

Mid-America 2018 wrapped up on Saturday under grey rainy skies -- usually a good omen for trade shows. Outside exhibitors weren't happy, but the mood inside was good.

Attendance seemed good for the first day of the Mid-America Trucking Show 2018, which got underway at 10 a.m. March 22. Absent this year were several of the truck and trailer makers and a few of the major Tier 1 suppliers, but showgoers didn't seem to mind too much, at least not that we heard.

Volvo Trucks' new VNX series was designed specifically for the needs of heavy-haul trucking operations. Available with up to 605 hp and 2,050 lb.-ft. of torque, the Volvo VNX series is available in daycab, flat-roof regional sleeper, and 70-inch sleeper configurations.

The NTEA Work Truck Show rolled into Indianapolis for a four-day stay (March 6-9), and HDT Executive Editor David Cullen was there to capture these new-truck highlights on the show floor.
