The Trailer OEM Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products Inc. has been named a standard supplier of wheel end equipment by Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co.
The relationship between the two companies continues to grow after having a long-time successful partnership in the Heavy-Duty Aftermarket through Utility Trailer's Aftermarket Parts. Webb will be the standard supplier of trailer hub and drum assemblies to two of Utility’s manufacturing sites: Glade Spring, Va., and Enterprise, Ala.
Wheel end products for Utility plants will be shipped from Webb’s new manufacturing facility, which was completed in 2004 in Tell City.
The facility manufactures high-volume hub and drums specifically for the heavy-duty trailer industry.
Kent Finkbiner, president of Webb’s OEM Trailer Business Unit said, “We are particularly pleased to be selected as a preferred supplier to a company with the exceptional reputation of Utility. We believe the superior quality of Webb products, with powder coated hubs and all balanced brake drums, is a great complement to the overall high quality of Utility trailers.”
