To help trucking companies keep their vehicles and drivers in use with better efficiency, the web portal has been redesigned for desktops and laptops so dispatchers can clearly and easily book and manage loads for their drivers. It features optimized platform options so that carriers, dispatchers and drivers can access Uber Freight and all needed information whether on the road or in the office.

Dispatchers can view and book loads, assign the loads to available drivers and manage each job from end-to-end. Additionally, dispatchers can list trucks with availability and the platform will recommend loads, which can be booked from directly within the portal.

The new app interface was built for a more intuitive experience for carriers and their drivers.

To make the mobile experience better, Uber Freight has improved its interface for faster, more intuitive booking. The changes were inspired by direct feedback from carriers and drivers.

Uber Freight says its new app will make it easier to find available loads and give drivers more visibility into the information they need to book loads that are right for them. Load cards were redesigned to be clearer, containing more information, such as upfront rate per mile and reload details. Richer facility insights from Uber Freight’s facility ratings feature have been fully integrated into the app as well, allowing drivers to see ratings, reviews and amenities for each facility before booking a load.
