Truckstop.net Wi-Fi Internet service remained off at many locations Wednesday as the company posted a list of 122 truckstops where service remains available.

The list can be found on the company’s web site at www.truckstop.net.
Ninety-eight of the working Wi-Fi sites are at Love’s Travel Stops. According to the list, service is also available at some Pilot, Petro and Rip Griffin locations. The same web page includes a link to instructions for subscribers seeking refunds.
In an email, Truckstop.net CEO Scott Moscrip said that Sprint had turned off Internet service to Truckstop.net Wi-Fi hot-stops on November 23rd at 4:20pm Mountain time. Sprint had installed equipment and was providing service to some 500 Truckstop.net locations. However, Moscrip said in a Tuesday press release that when ongoing service problems were traced to equipment Sprint had installed, Truckstop.net filed suit on November 15 charging Sprint with breach of contract.
Sprint spokeswoman Debra Peterson said that Sprint had fully met its requirements involving equipment and service. “We should be paid what is due us,” Peterson said Wednesday. Peterson said Sprint cut the service only after Truckstop.net failed to post a bond ordered by the federal judge in the case.
On its web site, Truckstop.net said it is attending to the service disruption. In his email, Moscrip said that Truckstop.net was not dependent on Spring and “could return with any provider.”
