Veteran marketing and business development executive Caroline Lyle has been appointed vice president of marketing for TMW Systems, the company announced.
In her new role, Lyle will oversee all marketing and communications programs designed to support the company’s portfolio of transportation management, asset maintenance, last-mile delivery and business intelligence solutions as wel as related products and services. She will be reporting to TMW Executive Vice President Scott Vanselous.

“Caroline has deep insight into the competitive demands facing transportation businesses of all types and sizes,” said Dave Wangler, TMW president. “Her background and strategic marketing skills will be invaluable in helping us connect with new and existing customers who understand the vital role technology can play in realizing their business objectives.”
Before joining TMW, Lyle was president and CEO of Torque Marketing Group, a Birmingham, Ala.-based marketing, public relations and social media firm serving transportation industry suppliers. She has prior experience in the technology category, having served as director of marketing and director of business development for an industry solutions provider.
She is a member of the Truckload Carriers Association Health and Wellness Committee and Women in Trucking. Lyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Auburn University.
