Sterling Truck Corp. has increased market coverage by adding 116 locations to its dealer network in the U.S. and Canada since 2001, and showing a 17% increase in locations for 2003.
"Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and it is something that we have worked very hard to earn," said John Merrifield, senior vice president of Sales & Marketing for Sterling Trucks.
This reputation for excellent customer service has helped Sterling increase sales in Class 6/7 by 32% and Class 8 by 11% in 2003.
Sterling also received the highest overall ranking in the 2003 J.D. Power and Associates Medium-Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study.
"We support our trucks with accessible service and expanding the dealer network allows us to do that," said Merrifield. "The network is instrumental in growing the Sterling brand and our market share over the next year."
