Oshkosh Truck Corp. has again been named one of the Best Big Companies in America on Forbes Magazine's 2003 Platinum 400 list.

This is the third consecutive year that Oshkosh's financial performance qualified it as a Platinum member.
Oshkosh ranked No. 5 in terms of five-year stock performance, with a stock price increase of 415%, according to the interactive version of the list found at www.forbes.com/platinum.
"It is an honor to be recognized by Forbes for the third consecutive year," said Robert G. Bohn, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Oshkosh.
Forbes' Platinum 400 ranks companies on the basis of long-term and short-term results, measuring profitability and growth over a five-year period. According to Forbes, the list includes "companies that are better than their competitors, with outstanding profitability and growth." The magazine publishes five lists annually, but its Platinum 400 List of the Best Big Companies is its premier list.
