Marc Llistosella has succeeded Albert Kirchmann as president and CEO of Mitsubishi Truck and Bus Corporation, the Japanese parent of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America. Llistosella will also function as the head of Daimler Trucks Asia.

"We look forward to the fresh, dynamic leadership from Marc Llistosella," said Todd Bloom, president and CEO of MFTA. "He has already shown a keen insight into the specific challenges and opportunities of the North American medium-duty truck market, and has promised to continue providing the resources and strategic dedication required for us to grow our market share."

Llistosella was previously responsible for the market entry of Daimler Trucks in India. In that role, he lead the setup of a greenfield organization, the construction of a production plant and the development of the new brand BharatBenz. Kirchmann will remain with the company as the Chairman of DTA and MFTBC to further consult, support and represent Daimler in Japan.

Llistosella joined MFTBC as a senior vice president of sales, marketing and customer care for the entire MFTBC product portfolio. He joined Daimler in 1994 and held several management positions in sales and strategy for the company.

“I am taking over a financially healthy company with five years of continuous worldwide sales growth,” said Llistosella. “We will all focus on continuing that upward trend while expanding our product portfolio.”
