Kenworth Truck Co. celebrated the 700,000th truck produced in the company’s 82 years during recent ceremonies at Kenworth’s manufacturing plant in Renton, Wash

Kenworth’s Truck No. 700,000 is a 2006 Model W900 with 72-inch AeroCab Aerodyne sleeper produced for long-time customer James H. Clark & Son Inc. in Salt Lake City, Utah.
“Kenworth is very proud to achieve the production of 700,000 Kenworth trucks and we recognize the dedication and commitment of our employees throughout our history,” said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president.
Jeff Clark, co-owner and vice president of James H. Clark & Son Inc., and former company president James C. Clark, son of the company’s founder, were among company officials at the special ceremony attended by Kenworth-Renton plant employees. They were presented with the keys to the new Kenworth W900 by Kenworth-Renton plant manager Doug Baugh; Kenworth Truck Co. general sales manager Bill Kozek; and Kyle Treadway, dealer principal of selling dealer Kenworth Sales in Salt Lake City.
James H. Clark & Son Inc. is a refrigerated goods carrier that primarily operates Kenworth W900 and T800 models in its fleet of 164 trucks.
Kenworth Truck Co., a division of Paccar Inc., is a leading manufacturer of heavy and medium duty trucks.
