Heil Environmental Reorganizes Top Management
Heil Environmental, Chattanooga, Tenn., has announced organizational changes in its customer service, engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and risk management departments

Heil manufactures refuse collection vehicles, dump bodies, replacement parts and truck equipment.
According to Heil, Bob McHugh has been promoted to director of customer support & chief quality officer, Richard Mills has been promoted to director of engineering, Tom Price has been promoted to product development engineering manager, Eric Evans has been promoted to operations improvement manager, Dan Rosen has taken on the role of director of key accounts, Shannon Harrop has been promoted to director of product management and George Paturalski has taken on the new role of corporate director of risk management.
The changes were prompted in part by planned retirements of several key personnel. Wayne Smith, vice president of global operations, has announced he will retire next year after more than 33 years of service. Mark Keller, vice president of engineering, left Heil in June after more than 15 years of service to work full-time in running a family-owned business. Bill Nehrkorn, vice president and general counsel, has announced that he will retire next year after more than 32 years with Heil. Smith, Keller and Nehrkorn have all worked closely with the entire senior management team to plan successful transitions.
