Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has named Howard A. Laster, a 19-year veteran of the company, as its Head of Aftermarket.
Laster will be responsible for the business strategy, product quality and performance and the development of effective sales and marketing activities in North America.
He will also lead the company’s product management team and guide the Diagnostics and Service Business team in the development of business with automotive OEMs, commercial and specialty vehicle target markets and aftermarket innovations.
In his previous role as director of Product Management and New Business Development, Laster helped Continental develop and launch the VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-application TPMS Sensor.
Before working for Continental, Laster was Marketing Manager for Blue Chip Products and Product Manager for KSG Safeguard Engine Parts. He was also the owner and general manager of First Auto Parts.
