Autocar Launches New Web Site
Autocar LLC has launched a new Internet site at www.autocartruck.com that is designed to provide customers and dealers with immediate access to product and service information
Autocar LLC has launched a new Internet site at www.autocartruck.com that is designed to provide customers and dealers with immediate access to product and service information.
The site, which reflects Autocar's new brand campaign, is made up of nine sections and includes a searchable dealer directory that offers both location information and Mapquest directions for all Autocar full service, service and parts and parts-only dealerships.
The Sales, Service and Parts section features a complete list of all regional sales and field support personnel, while the Products area presents information on the Autocar Xpeditor heavy-duty LCOE truck series, including detailed illustrations and photos of the Xpeditor's range of cab choices. Authorized Autocar dealers are using the site to access dealer resources, such as vehicle inquiries and ordering, warranty claims submission, Electronic Parts Catalog and a UPS rate estimator.
"I'm pleased to say that our web site quickly and clearly provides both our dealers and customers with the kind of information they need to achieve the maximum performance from Autocar trucks," says Mike Popovich, vice president of sales and marketing for Autocar.
Autocar was formed in July 2001, when parent company Grand Vehicle Works Holdings Corp. purchased the Autocar name and the Xpeditor truck line from Volvo Trucks North America Inc.
