International Aware Vehicle Intelligence is a productivity tool to reduce downtime, anticipate maintenance needs and provide an extra connection to fleet security resources and other services. Aware Vehicle Intelligence will help reduce fuel and inventory costs, maximize available revenue opportunities, and improve the overall return on their investment in trucks and truck equipment. The product is commercially available now.
Aeris.net will provide International a state-of-the art 1XRTT communication gateway. 1XRTT is a so-called 3rd generation wireless service that runs on CDMA-based networks.
Aeris.net’s AerFrame delivers voice and wireless data applications globally, across most telematics and telemetry communications devices and cellular networks. It also provides vehicle manufacturers and Telematics Service Providers with the only industry-focused billing service bureau.
International’s new Aware Vehicle Intelligence will provide real-time, comprehensive, and integrated operating information to the fleet manager, technician and owner. The service, now available, allows full diagnostic capability to the fleet manager while the trucks are still on the road.
