A glance at this photo might cause you to slough it off as an ordinary equipment trailer. Then look at the bulldozer and consider that it’s a Cat D11, a huge machine that weighs 102 tons, and at the trailer’s massive ramps stowed in a folded-up position.
 
Look further at the tractor; it’s a Kenworth C500, an off-road model with oversize tires and wheels. Rogers Brothers put out a press release about this hefty not-so-lowboy, saying it had recently completed this 125-ton-capacity trailer for an iron ore mine in northern Canada.

It is designed to haul machines weighing up to 125 tons. The trailer is 59 feet long and over 13 feet wide. Its running gear has eight axles, four on each side of the trailer, and a total of 32 tires to haul various types of mining equipment.

This trailer is in use in a mine in the province of Quebec, moving a variety of the very large equipment commonly used in the mining industry. This is just one of several very large trailers Rogers has recently designed and built for the mining industry in locations all over the world, the company said.
