ALK Technologies has introduced CoPilot Truck/Laptop 9, an enhanced version of its truck-specific, voice-guided navigation solution with the latest routing and map data.

CoPilot Truck combines the truck-routing, mileage and mapping capabilities of ALK’s PC*MILER software with the GPS route-guidance of its CoPilot navigation technology on a laptop in the truck cab. Truck drivers can rely on spoken and visual dock-to-dock driving directions.
“CoPilot Truck/Laptop 9 takes advantage of the most powerful driver computing tool in many truck cabs – a driver’s laptop computer. On a laptop, the CoPilot display is as large as the laptop’s screen.

New features in CoPilot Truck/Laptop 9 include updated 2006 PC*MILER 20 map data, exportable state mileage reports for easy fuel tax reporting, and expanded hazmat routing options.
