NorthAmerican Transportation Association, a national transportation benefits organization (TBO), has become the first association to provide U.S. DOT and OSHA Certified Training courses, which will be offered on-line
through a link on www.ntassoc.com.
The NTA Online Institute’s new Internet site features numerous approved U.S. DOT- and OSHA-certified motor carrier training courses at discounted rates as part of the association’s dedication to providing small and medium-size transportation-related private fleets, trucking companies and independent owner-operators with the tools needed to succeed as small business owners.
The NTA Internet-based training provides the same official training currently offered through the U.S. DOT’s Transportation Safety Institute's instructor-led courses at its Oklahoma City training facility and at various locations throughout the country.
NTA President/CEO Wayne Schooling, said terminal managers, safety directors, safety clerical staff, drivers, mechanics, brake inspectors, recruiters and independent owner-operators can benefit from the training.
“They will now have easy access to cost-affordable training on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs Title 49) anytime, anyplace, 365 days a year, which will assist them in maintaining compliance and received a U.S. DOT-issued Certificate of Training,” he said.
