Tailwind Management Systems Inc., Point Roberts, Wash., has completed integration with QuickBooks accounting, ProMiles Fuel Tax and Crystal Decisions' Crystal Reports software.

Tailwind CMS users can share customer, vendor, driver, invoices, receipts and payment detail with their QuickBooks accounting software. Integration with other accounting software products, including Simply Accounting and ACCPAC, will be completed in the coming weeks. Fuel tax reports can be easily issued with ProMiles Fuel Tax software, using data transferred from all trips and fuel bills entered into Tailwind CMS.
Custom reports and forms are now available for customers with special requirements through integration with Crystal Reports by Crystal Decisions.
Most software companies have very high research and development costs that must be recovered in the sale to the consumer. Tailwind acquired the original source code from a large transportation company that uses a version of the software internally.
Tailwind CMS runs in a Microsoft Windows environment on PCs and servers.
