Minneapolis-based PeopleNet has partnered with ITS Compliance to offer an integrated solution. The new partnership will allow fleets to automate their fuel tax reporting.

The new partnership merges PeopleNet's GPS tracking and fuel purchase information with ITS' Paperless Fuel Tax Reporting System, and compliance and risk-management expertise to automatically and accurately compute all state fuel/mileage and highway-use taxes for PeopleNet customers. In addition, customers will be provided with fleet tax analysis reporting, tax return preparation/submittal, data retention, and IFTA/IRP audit management, representation and support by ITS for all joint clientele.
