Bosch unveiled a new battery tester that features conductance technology and temperature compensation.
The BAT 110 uses conductance technology to test most types of 12-volt batteries, including AGM, standard and maintenance-free batteries.
In addition, the tester diagnoses 12-volt charging systems and starters. For testing charging systems, the BAT 110 has a high and low voltage storage function. It uses a low voltage storage function when testing starters.
The tester requires no internal batteries and has a cold cranking amp test range from 200 to 850 Cold Cranking Amps. It features a four-button keypad and a large, four-digit LED screen, which shows the voltage and CCA readouts. Three "stop-light" illuminated LED indicators display battery condition.
The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services, according to the company.
