Trucker Path has launched Truckloads app for iOS and added several new features to its portfolio of Android apps for the commercial trucking industry. Most of these additional features have been designed to give users more input capabilities.

The Truckloads app is now available for users on iOS devices. Trucker Path Truckloads is the company’s newest app, built for users to easily and quickly access available loads throughout North America. Currently in beta testing, Truckloads has so far been reviewed by more than 37,000 Android users and more than 400 brokers as early adopters, who post 50,000 loads per day.

IOS app features and recent updates for Android  include:

  • Tracking the age of posted loads to ensure that the user is viewing the freshest load postings available.

  • Display broker credit ratings on every load, increasing user’s confidence in the posting company’s ability to pay for carrier services.

  • Functionality to filter loads by destination to the city and zip code level, giving users the ability to search for loads in advance of arriving at a location.

Truckloads is currently in open beta testing. Brokers need to sign up on Trucker Path website to get the access to the marketplace. A web version for carriers is coming soon.

In addition, with the new updates, the Trucker Path Pro navigational aid app now provides:

  • The ability for drivers to identify their truck and location to take advantage of available loads in their vicinity, if needed.

  • The ability for users to contribute to the accuracy of available fuel prices, using embedded crowdsourcing features.

  • Customization of points of interest to show only those that interest them, such as hotels with truck parking, specific truckstops, truck washes, etc.

  • Filters for identifying fueling station locations at or under a predetermined price for diesel.

Trucker Path is a Silicon Valley based company. The company released its crowdsourcing trip planning and resource locator mobile app Trucker Path in early 2013, followed in 2015 by Truckloads, an online marketplace specializing in connecting freight companies to carriers.

“We listened to our user community and have developed the second in what will eventually be a suite of new products from Trucker Path,” said Charles Myers, vice president of strategy. “Our ultimate goal is to provide the over-the-road trucking community with a complete suite of apps and web-based tools to make their business more profitable and life on the road more fulfilling.”

Meanwhile, the company says, daily Trucker Path usage continues to show significant growth and is now averaging some 36,000 daily POI searches, roughly 70,000 calls for POI details, 15,000 weigh station status updates, and some 13,000 truckstop parking availability updates.
