Toyo Tire U.S.A. released the Toyo M650, a commercial drive tire that is SmartWay verified. The tire is designed for regional haul service and higher-torque operating conditions.

The Toyo M650 meets the EPA standards for low rolling resistance and was developed with the company’s E-balance technology which improves casing life, durability and is more efficient.

“The new M650 combines drive traction with low rolling resistance for regional haul trucks,” said Lowell Slimp, senior product manager at Toyo. “This helps to further expand the SmartWay verified offerings from Toyo Tires.”

The M650 has a rib/lug pattern and a tread depth of 28/32” for better performance in wet and dry conditions. Tie bars on the shoulder bridge reduce tread block movement and the tire’s four steel belt construction resists irregular wear and contributes to the tire’s low rolling resistance.

The M650 will fit 22.5 inch wheels.
