Navistar’s OnComand Connection telematics has been integrated with the software of Axis TMS, a provider of transportation management software, and the company will now act as a reseller of OnCommand Connection telematics devices.

The integration provides mutual customers of both systems with improved ability to manage operations, dispatch, and fleet movements, according to Axis. The integration with Axis TMS allows vehicle information, GPS coordinates, and driver hours of service data to be automatically provided from the OnCommand Connection system to Axis TMS customers.
