Nu-Line has introduced side guards designed for straight trucks, providing an additional protection barrier in the event of a side collision for trucks that work in busy urban environments.
Side guards can help reduce the number of vulnerable road user fatalities and injuries for trucks operating near pedestrians and cyclists.
The Nu-Line side guard simple to assemble and can be installed on each side of a vehicle within an hour, according to the company. Once installed, the side guards can be quickly removed when necessary. It attaches to the frame with two single bolts and can be adjusted for assembly height and distance from frame to edge of wheel. There is no welding or fabrication and no specialized training required to become a certified installer of the Nu-Line side guard.
