Hankook Tire will launch its new Smart Flex DL12 Long/Regional Haul Drive position truck and bus radial tire for fleet customers at the Mid-America Trucking Show this week.

The Smart Flex DL12 will be available for fleet customers beginning in the third quarter and available in six sizes; 11R22.5 14 and 16 ply, 11R24.5 14 and 16 ply, 295/75R22.5 and 285/75R24.5.
 
The Smart Flex DL12 is a long/regional-haul drive tire that offers traction, tread wear, handling and stability in all weather conditions through the incorporation of many unique design features such as:

• a 4-channel full depth zig-zag groove tread pattern offering traction and tread life

• an optimized carcass structure for better ride and handling

• an improved bead profile for superior retreadability

• a multiple 3-Dimensional kerf design that provides additional traction and helps to prevent irregular wear.

In addition to the new Smart Flex DL12 Hankook will also have its recently launched e3 Wide DL07 and e3 Wide TL07 Ultra Wide Base drive and trailer position tires on display at its booth. The e3 Wide DL07 and e3 Wide TL07, incorporate Hankook’s Spiral-Coil Technology for improved casing durability, an advanced tread pattern to prevent irregular tread wear and are both approved for Smartway.
